Count Your Blessings

Hello!
I'm continuing the "With Faith" theme today with my Count Your Blessings card.

Sometimes all of us get wrapped up in wanting soo many material things...more so than we need.  Sometimes also we hit a bump or two in our lives and wonder if we can make it over those bumps.  So the scripture verse I chose reminds us that money isn't everything and God will not fail you.  You can see the verse along with details on how this card came about on my blog Shelly's Art.   Keep the Faith!

Please stop by tomorrow to see what Shelley has in store for you.  Have a wonderful Sat!

The details for making this card can be found at Creative Genie-ous, of course, and I would love to have you visit.  Tomorrow we welcome another new designer to our team, Amber La Mons.  I hope you'll have a moment to stop by and say hello.

Just To Say

 Hi all and welcome
I have stopped by today to show you all the card I made for Faith week. A very simple card to make, especially if the items are already on hand.
I started actually with the sentiment, which I came across in the book: Just the Right Words. Sometimes when I'm stumped for a card I investigate the books or magazines I have on hand for a bit of help. You can find out how the card was built over at Tina's Scrap Corner, I hope you stop by.

Won't you join Christine Patton tomorrow and see what she has done

With Heartfelt Sympathy

Hi and welcome to the start of a new theme this week: Embossed (Wet or Dry). Embossing in any form can make a card just a bit more of a special card, it can be just the slightest touch that can send that card to the next level.
I really need to use it more in my card-making, missing out on many opportunities to use it. To find out more about the card I made you'll need to stop over to my blog at Tina's Scrap Corner
Stop by tomorrow and see what Jill has done with this theme....

For Mom…

This is a really simple card to do… Pick out your background pattern, co-ordinate a ribbon or paper strips on the bottom. Personalize by putting their name on it, and then decorate as desired.
I started doing this card by gathering some scraps I had. I started with the green background and butterfly border. I then picked out a contrasting plain purple paper to crimp and put under the butterfly border.. I had stickers to make the word Mom above the paper ribbon, but didn’t like the lack of contrast, so I used a gold paint pen that made it sparkle!  I had the green frame “extra” from another project, and thought it would be nice to use to frame a flower with some gold ferns and a pink butterfly.
Let your imagination guide you as to what to put into the frame… perhaps a picture of the person’s favorite place to camp, their car (aka toys)… you can have so much fun doing something so simple Smile Enjoy!

Angel Dog

Good Morning I get to finish off your choice week with a card I recently did for a swap.
Have you ever been in a position of needing a sympathy card for friend's pet? That was the theme for the month of July on the Cricut Card Exchange FB Group. I pondered for a while on this, also did a goggle search to see what others have done to get inspiration for this project. Then it hit me:
This is the card I made. A sweet one for a friend that lost their family dog.
To get more details on how this card was made you'll have to jump over to my blog at Tina's Scrap Corner

Slide Up Pop-Up Card

This is such an easy way to make a card that can be as elegant or fun as you want. I made it with my Silhouette, but you could easily make it with some cardstock and scrap paper and embellishments. I’ve got a link to the video tutorial that inspired me on how to do it, and more information at my blog at Gardens Crafts ‘n’ More.
